From the coolest part of Rias Baixas, this wine bursts with juicy Albariño character; pear, citrus fruit, musky perfume and hints of mineral and spice. Clean, intense and very long on the palate.

Light in body yet intensely flavoured, offering the typical white pepper and crisp green fruit aromas of the variety, allied to a creamy texture particular to the Wagram region.         
Reserve White Wines        
2008, Austria, Wachau, Hochrain Smaragd, Rudi Pichler Gruner Veltliner –  £85.00
Smaragd is the Wachau designation for dry late harvest wines, above 12.5% alcohol through natural fermentation. Vines up to 50 years old, growing in weathered primitive rock and loess soils, yield a profound, archetypal Veltliner that is rich in extracts. Pale lemon green in colour, with notes of grass, lemon, white grapefruit and stones. The wine is medium bodied and has steely minerality, complemented by subtle citrus fruit flavours.        
2014, France, Burgundy, Henri de Villamont Puligny-Montrachet –  –  –  £95.00
A generous style of Puligny-Montrachet from a famous vineyard, offering a nice nose of almonds, white flowers and fresh fruits. The mouth is fine and elegant, nicely tuned, with understated oak and a long citrus finish, with a touch of minerality in the aftertaste. One of the best wines of Burgundy.

Bursting with expressive red fruit, with a distinct mineral freshness, fine tannins and notes of fennel that balance the wine perfectly.

This juicy Brouilly shows a fine spectrum of fruit, raspberries, Morello cherries and blackcurrants. There is some typical Brouilly power on the palate, but a good deal of finesse as well.

Intense violet aromas and purity of raspberry and red fruit flavours, with a kick of white pepper, a very assured, sleek texture and a long, energetic finish.

Powerful expression of black fruit, white chocolate, plums and spices. These aromas are perfectly combined with the smokiness provided by French Oak barrels.

Red fruits, black cherry and blackcurrant on the nose. On the palate, the spice of the Negroamaro is complemented by the juicy plum jam flavours of Primitivo, resulting in a soft and well-balanced wine.

A quintessential expression of Barossa Shiraz, with aromas of plum and mulberry offset by milk chocolate, cinnamon and pepper. The rich, voluptuous texture on the palate is lifted by spice and a fresh fruit character that deftly belies the wine’s concentration.

Reserve Red Wines        
2014, Italy, Prunotto Barolo, Piedmont –  £85.00
Aromatic with rich tannins and characteristics of old oak, these wines are considered by most to be some of Italy’s finest. This wine is robust with evident notes of red flowers, strawberry and forest fruits on the nose. Long and smooth with earthy tobacco and chocolate on the finish, this is Barolo at its best.                       
2013, USA, Sonoma Coast, Radio-Coteau La Neblina, Pinot Noir –  £115.00
The wine displays an alluring red velvet hue encompassing a dark rose centre with radiant clarity. After a few swirls, the wine becomes more complex, letting out flowers, additional fruit and nuttiness. Intense black cherries and warm blueberry preserves rub elbows with sweet oak undertones and oven-roasted cashews. Entering the palate, the medium weight of the wine is accompanied by red raspberry and Alpine strawberries.         
2014, USA, Napa Valley, Joseph Phelps, Cabernet Sauvignon –  £145.00
This delicious Napa Cabernet expresses the region’s opulent berry fruit and supple texture without straying into over ripeness. Displaying classic Cabernet aromas of blackberry and blueberry with hints of baking spices and tobacco follow through to a full body, with polished and silky tannins with layers of dark berries, graphite and cocoa powder on the palate. Dense with beautifully integrated oak and sweet tannins throughout the lingering finish.

The palest of pale pinks, the delicate rose offers a core of pretty stone fruit with some herbal notes. The palate is dry but smooth-textured, with an appetising mineral finish
